Fhos (formin)

A member of the diaphanous group of formin homology (FH1, FH2 & FH3) containing proteins (Westendorf, 2001) that binds actin (Takeya et al, 2003).  The actin-binding region is in the N-terminus and the protein bundles actin through dimerization of the FH2 domain.
