A
c210 kDa PDZ containing actin binding protein that is required for correct
neural tube formation in the mouse. The protein is expressed in two forms
one containing, the other lacking the N terminal PDZ domain. At the
C-terminus of both forms is an EVH1 domain and a PDZ binding domain. The
protein is homologous in two regions with Apx a protein that is probably a
sodium channel reulator, these regions are ASD1 and ASD2.
