Boveella

An unusual amoeba apparently in the Family Paramoebidae (Page, 1983) originally described by Sawyer (Sawyer, 1975). It resembles a testate amoeba more than a gymnamoeba at first site.  It extends fine pseudopoda from a central body that is covered in detritus.
